Tarja Kemppi

Tarja Kemppi is an experienced professional in supply chain management and operations, currently serving as the Head of Sales & Operations Planning at Outokumpu since September 2023. Previously, Tarja held the position of Supply Chain Development Director at Metsä Board from May 2022 to August 2023. Tarja's extensive tenure at SSAB EUROPE OY lasted from October 2012 to May 2022, where various leadership roles included Head of IT and Operations Support, VP of Supply Chain Management and IT, Director of Demand Planning and Chain Optimization, and Director of Hot Rolled Strip Products. Tarja's foundational career in supply chain began at Rautaruukki Oyj with roles such as Division Controller and various director positions. Tarja holds a degree from the University of Vaasa, completed between 1991 and 1995.
