Brian Weitzner

Brian Weitzner is the Director of Computational and Structural Biology at Outpace Bio, where they design custom proteins to support the development of curative cell-based immunotherapies for cancers. Previously, they held positions as Senior Scientist and Associate Director at Outpace Bio, as well as Senior Scientist at Lyell Immunopharma. Brian was also a Union Organizer at UAW Local 4121 and served on the Board of Directors for the Academic Mutual Aid Foundation. With a solid educational background, they earned a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University after obtaining a BS in the same field from Cornell University. Additionally, Brian is currently a board member at Rosetta Commons and the Open Molecular Software Foundation.
