Amitava Datta

Amitava Datta has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Amitava started their career in 1992 at Siemens Corporate Research as a Project Manager. In 1998, they joined Siemens Information Systems Ltd. as the Vice-President and Chief Architect, where they worked until 2006. In 2006, they became the MD & CEO of Ubq Technologies, where they currently hold this position.

Amitava Datta earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Wright State University from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University between 1983 and 1986. Amitava completed their undergraduate studies at Jadavpur University, where they received a B.E. in Electronics and Tele-Communications from 1978 to 1982.
