Ryan Adams

Ryan Adams has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Ryan started their career in the US Army, serving as an Airborne Infantry Soldier from 1989 to 1991. After that, they worked as an Assistant Professor at DeVry University from 2001 to 2004, where they were responsible for teaching, research, writing, and corporate training.

In 2006, Ryan joined Microsoft as a Program Manager and held various roles within the company until 2015. During their time at Microsoft, they were directly responsible for implementing data-driven processes and aligning engineering resources to business strategies. Ryan also played a key role in increasing advertising revenue and partner engagement for MSN.com.

From 2015 to 2020, Ryan worked at Tableau Software as a Program Manager and then as a Senior Program Manager. Their responsibilities included managing engineering projects and building functionality for global markets.

In 2020, they joined Icertis as a Senior Program Manager and worked there until 2021.

Currently, Ryan is working at Outreach as a Professional Services Senior PM.

Ryan Adams earned a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Washington, where they attended from 1997 to 1999. Ryan then pursued further education at Western Washington University, earning an M.A. in English Literary Theory and Rhetoric from 1999 to 2001.
