Manager, Site Implementation at Outrider

Erik Speakman's work experience begins in 2006 when they worked as an Aviation Operations Specialist in the US Army, where they were responsible for scheduling and dispatching tactical aircraft missions. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at the Albuquerque Ambulance Service as a Dispatch Operations Supervisor and later as a System Status Controller, handling emergency and non-emergency service calls and supervising staff. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Bed Management Coordinator at Presbyterian Healthcare Services, overseeing patient throughput and flow coordination. In 2017, they joined Denver Transit Partners as a Train Dispatcher, responsible for directing the safe movement of commuter trains. Erik held a similar role in the company from 2019 to 2020. In 2019, they also worked at United Ground Express as a Dispatch Supervisor, and at Nuro as a Dispatcher. Since 2021, they have been working at Outrider as a Senior Dispatch Engineer.

Erik Speakman's education history includes attending Central New Mexico Community College from 2012 to 2015. During this time, they pursued Integrated Studies with a focus in History and Anthropology. Prior to that, they completed their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates at Del Norte High School from 2001 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Erik has obtained several certifications. In November 2022, they completed certifications such as Become a Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Operational Excellence Foundations, Root Cause Analysis: Getting to the Root of Business Problems, and Statistics Foundations 1: The Basics, all offered by LinkedIn. In October 2022, they also completed the Lean Six Sigma: Analyze, Improve, and Control Tools certification through LinkedIn. Furthermore, in August 2022, Erik earned certifications in Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Advanced Innovation Group Pro Excellence (AIGPE™), Lean Six Sigma: Define and Measure Tools from LinkedIn, and Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn. It is worth noting that Erik also holds a CPR & AED certification from the American Heart Association, which they obtained in August 2021. Additionally, they have FEMA certifications, including FEMA ISC-100 and FEMA ISC-200, both obtained in May 2020.
