Lewis Funk has a long history of work experience in the technology industry. Lewis started their career in 1989 as a Support Analyst at Lockheed Martin Inc. In 1994, they moved to Great-West Life Assurance Co. as a Programmer Analyst V. In 1997, they joined BEA Systems, Inc. as a Support Engineer. In 2004, they moved to Health Language, Inc. as a QA Engineer and was promoted to Manager of Quality Assurance. In 2006, they joined MX Logic as a SR Test Engineer and was promoted to Senior Test Engineer. In 2009, they joined McAfee as a Software QA Engineer and was promoted to Quality Lead and Senior Test Engineer. In 2014, they joined SendGrid as a Quality Assurance Engineer IV and Software Engineer in Test. In 2017, they joined Filament! as a Quality Assurance Release Manager. Finally, in 2019, they joined Outrider as an Electrical Engineer, Electronics Technician, and Manager of Electrical Engineering.

Lewis Funk obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology from Metropolitan State University of Denver between 1987 and 1991. Lewis also holds certifications from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board, including the CTAL-TA Certified Tester, Advanced Level Test Analyst (2010), the CTFL Certified Tester, Foundation Level (2008), and the Certified Scrum Master (2014). Additionally, they obtained the IPC/WHMA-A-620D Certified Standards Expert certification from IPC in 2021.
