Shantanu Kumar

Shantanu Kumar is a Machine Learning Data Engineer at Outrider since May 2023. Prior to this role, Shantanu served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at ABB E-mobility from July 2021 to April 2023, contributing to ML engineering and data science as one of the first hires and building various greenfield projects. Shantanu also worked at Kayzen from August 2020 to June 2021 in a similar senior engineering capacity, managing large datasets and setting up a Docker Swarm cluster to scale Airflow jobs. Before that, Shantanu was a Senior Data Scientist at Amadeus from August 2018 to July 2020, focusing on the AdTech domain and building infrastructure for model training and serving using TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform. Shantanu began a career in data science at Fit Analytics, a Snap Inc. company, from April 2015 to August 2018, solving unique problems related to clothing size recommendations. Shantanu holds a combined Bachelor and Master Degree in Mathematics & Scientific Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, obtained in 2010.
