Akshay Gaikwad

Akshay Gaikwad is a Senior Reliability Engineer at Outset Medical, Inc. since July 2022, with a strong background in reliability and quality engineering. Previous experience includes roles at Johnson Controls as a Reliability & Quality Engineer II, where testing and environmental assessments were conducted, and at Medtronic as a Reliability Engineer Co-op focusing on testing subsystem components. Akshay's earlier positions involved research on microscale texturing at Rochester Institute of Technology, where a tribometer test was developed, and teaching material property testing experiments as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. A Mechanical Engineering Master's degree was obtained from Rochester Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from Government College of Engineering and Research Awasari.
