Max Trouton

Max Trouton is a Technical Consultant at Outsmart Insight, where responsibilities include researching and forecasting advancements in scientific technologies since June 2022. Concurrently, Max serves as a Visiting Researcher at Diamond Light Source, focusing on imaging surface structures of hybrid-perovskites. Previous experience includes a Research Internship at Coherent Inc. in 2019, involving R&D on diagnostics for ultrashort amplifiers, and participation in the Saltire Scholar Programme, leading to the internship. Earlier roles include a Maintenance Engineer position at Harlequin Manufacturing Ltd., where maintenance of heavy machinery and collaboration with engineering teams were key functions. Max is pursuing a PhD in Physical Chemistry at UCL after earning a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Aberdeen.
