Bruno Moreira

Bruno Moreira has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and business intelligence. Bruno currently holds the position of Principal Data Engineer at OutSystems since April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Tech Lead Data Engineer at OutSystems from April 2019 to April 2022. Before joining OutSystems, Bruno worked as a Senior Data Engineer at OutSystems from April 2018 to March 2019.

In addition to their work at OutSystems, Bruno also has experience in other companies. Bruno co-founded Group TBM in 2014 and held the position of Co-Founder. Bruno worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Hitachi Vantara from September 2017 to April 2018. Bruno also served as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Webdetails and Pentaho from June 2016 to April 2018.

Prior to their roles in data engineering and business intelligence, Bruno worked at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant from September 2013 to May 2016, where they were responsible for implementing ETL processes for data migration in the insurance industry. Bruno also worked as a Consultant at Deloitte from August 2012 to August 2013, where they were involved in a large-scale implementation of an insurance core solution in Denmark.

Before joining Deloitte, Bruno worked as a Software Engineer at ES Block from March 2012 to April 2016, where they were responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a restful API for an e-Learning platform. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Manager IT Solutions at Rumos from September 2011 to August 2012, and as a Consultant at Altitude Software from September 2008 to September 2011, where they provided consulting services and developed applications in different technologies.

Overall, Bruno has a diverse background in data engineering, business intelligence, software development, and consulting, with a strong focus on ETL processes and data migration in the insurance industry.

Bruno Moreira completed a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Universidade de Coimbra between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra. In 2015, Bruno also obtained a certification in ITIL® 2011 Foundation from APMG-International.
