José Ramalho

José Ramalho has extensive work experience in the technology industry. José started their career with OutSystems in 2011 as an Associate Developer and later progressed to become a Professional Developer and an Expert Developer, focused on developing web apps using the Agile Platform. José then transitioned to the role of Customer Success Manager, where they were responsible for onboarding new customers and designing their growth plans with the platform.

Afterwards, José served as an Accelerator at OutSystems, working on boosting the adoption of the OutSystems Platform by providing technical training to customers and partners. José further advanced their career at OutSystems as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of management consoles for the platform.

José went on to join Sol Sem Fronteiras - ONGD as a Member of the Board, where they were involved in membership management, national volunteer management, and important decision-making for the organization. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Researcher at the Universidade de Aveiro.

José returned to OutSystems as an Engineering Team Lead, responsible for leading the LifeCycle team and ensuring their growth and productivity. Currently, they hold the role of Lead Software Engineer and is expected to become a Principal Software Engineer in October 2022.

José Ramalho earned a Master's degree in Informatics from the Universidade de Aveiro, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. José has also obtained additional certifications including AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2023, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2017, Professional Support Engineer from OutSystems in 2015, and Expert Developer from OutSystems in 2013.
