Rui Couto

Rui Couto's work experience includes being a UX Team Lead at OutSystems since April 2022, a Senior Product Designer at OutSystems from March 2021, and a Product Designer at OutSystems from March 2020 until March 2021. Prior to that, Rui Couto worked as a Senior Researcher at INESC Technology and Science - Associate Laboratory from July 2017 to March 2020. Rui Couto also served as an Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade do Minho from September 2014 to February 2020 and as a Monitor in Software Analysis and Design at the University of Minho in April 2014.

Rui Couto holds a PhD in Informatics from Universidade do Minho, which they pursued from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their MsC in Distributed Systems/Applications Engineering from the same university, from 2009 to 2012. Rui also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade do Minho between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, Rui has obtained several certifications in areas such as Leadership Foundations, UX Foundations, and Agile Methods for UX Design, among others.
