Rui Pereira

VP, Digital Transformation at OutSystems

Rui Pereira is the current Vice President of Digital Transformation at OutSystems. Rui has previously held positions at WeDo Technologies, Sonaecom, and Oracle. Pereira has been working in the technology industry for over 30 years.

Pereira began their career in 1987 as a web developer for Unilever. Rui then spent seven years at Oracle, where they eventually became Practice Manager. In 1998, Pereira left Oracle to become Director at Sonaecom. Rui then moved to WeDo Technologies in 1999, where they were a co-founder and partner. WeDo Technologies was acquired by Mobileum Inc. in 2019.

Pereira has been with OutSystems since 2001. Rui has played a key role in OutSystems’ digital transformation journey. Under their leadership, OutSystems has become a leading low-code platform provider.

Rui Pereira has a Master in Marketing - Brand Management from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, a Post-Graduation in Management from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a Graduate in Computer Science from Instituto Superior de Informática e Gestão.
