Shawn Campbell

Shawn Campbell has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Shawn is currently serving as the CIO/CISO at Outten & Golden LLP since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Lankler Siffert & Wohl LLP as the Chief Information Officer from January 2021 to April 2023, and as the Director of Technology from March 2017 to January 2021.

Before joining Lankler Siffert & Wohl LLP, Shawn held roles at Stroz Friedberg an Aon Company, starting as the Manager of Information Technology from March 2008 to June 2014, and then transitioning to the position of Assistant Director of Information Technology from June 2014 to March 2017.

Earlier in their career, Shawn served as a Network Administrator at Sidley Austin LLP from January 2006 to March 2008, and as a Network Engineer at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from November 1999 to January 2006. Their professional journey started at Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Technical Support Analyst from August 1998 to November 1999.

Shawn Campbell has a diverse education history with a focus on cybersecurity risk and strategy, finance and information systems, and electro-mechanical engineering technology. Shawn holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy from New York University. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance and Information Systems at the Zicklin School of Business.

Prior to that, Shawn completed their undergraduate studies at The City College of New York, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BT) degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Shawn Campbell has acquired several certifications to further enhance their skill set. These include CCNA (Security, Routing and Switching) from Cisco, Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA, ITIL/Foundation from APM Group, MCITP (Server & Enterprise) from Microsoft Certifications, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and Six Sigma Green Belt from VMEdu Inc.
