Laurie Greeno has 27 years of Strategic Management, Marketing and Sales leadership experience at General Mills, including 20 years as a Vice President leading Desserts and Cereal Business Units, Events & Sponsorships, In-Market Experimentation and New Channel Development. Prior to General Mills, Greeno worked in Marketing at Cummins Engine Company.
Now retired, Greeno is enjoying the opportunity to devote more time and talent to the community. She is a member of the Minnesota Orchestra Board of Directors as well as its Executive, Liaison and DEI Committees. She recently concluded her six-year tenure on the YWCA Minneapolis Board where she was an active member of the Marketing and Racial Justice Committees. She has also played leadership roles in the community group, Orchestrate Excellence, and as a board member for Baby’s Space, A Place to Grow and the Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
Greeno earned a Bachelor of Arts in History (Highest Honors, magna cum laude) from Williams College in 1982 and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1986. She lives in Minnesota with her husband and loves the outdoors, sports, literature, art, travel, and hanging out with her two adult sons at the family cabin.
