Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance
Sarah DeFeo currently serves as the Chief Program Officer at the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, where previous roles included Vice President of Scientific Affairs and Programs and Director of Scientific Affairs, starting in November 2008. From 2007 to February 2012, Sarah contributed as a Board Member of the NYC Venture Philanthropy Fund. Prior to that, Sarah held the position of Program Director at Columbia University from July 2005 to July 2008 and worked as a Project Officer at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine from April 2002 to July 2005. Sarah began a career in academia as a Program Assistant at the Social Science Research Council from June 1999 to April 2002. Sarah earned a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy & Administration from Columbia University's SIPA from 2006 to 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Vassar College, attained in May 1999.
