Brandy Simpson

Brandy Simpson, MSHA, CRCR has had a diverse range of roles and responsibilities throughout their work experience. Brandy is currently serving as the VP Revenue Cycle Optimization Amplify RCM at Ovation Healthcare since August 2023. Previously, they held the position of President-Elect at the Alabama Chapter of HFMA, where they also served as Secretary and Education Chair from June 2019 to present. Prior to that, Brandy worked at MedCo Services | Healthcare Revenue Cycle Solutions as the VP Revenue Cycle Optimization since September 2017. Brandy also worked as a Revenue Cycle Consultant at Velocity Made Good from March 2017. Brandy has a notable tenure at Huntsville Hospital, where they held various positions including Director of Accounts Receivables, Director of Patient Financial Services at Decatur Morgan and Helen Keller Hospital, and Pfs Operations Manager from April 2016 to May 2016, January 2013 to May 2016, and August 2009 to January 2013, respectively. Before joining Huntsville Hospital, they served as the Director of Client Services at The Uptain Group, Inc. from November 2005 to August 2009.

Brandy Simpson, MSHA, CRCR received a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Athens State University in 2010. Brandy has also obtained the certification of HFMA's Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
