April B.

April B. is currently the Head of Finance at Ovation.io. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Finance at Iora Health from September 2019 to May 2021. In this role, they led the Accounting and FP&A Teams, as well as payroll, accounts payable, fee-for-service (FFS) billing and treasury functions. April also reviewed key payer/program and vendor contracts and terms.

From May 2021 to August 2022, they served as the Head Of Finance at Ovation.io. In this role, they led efforts around reporting efficiencies, including key month-end close activities for areas of operational efficiency to enable better transparency and speed to report. April also coordinated the operating capabilities around new payer and plan offerings from the Finance-support perspective - from reporting to data capture and analysis. Additionally, they oversaw and coordinated all annual external audit and tax-related activities, including implementation of key accounting policies such as ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.

April B. has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance from Babson College and a Master of Science in Accounting from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. April B. also studied abroad at the University of St Andrews. April B. is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant from the Board of Accountancy in the state of Massachusetts.
