Ben Culbert has extensive experience in various digital marketing roles. Ben began their career at Digital River Inc as a Customer Service Supervisor from 2000 to 2002. Ben then worked at I C System Inc as an Agent from 2003 to 2007.
In 2007, Ben joined C.H. Robinson as a Digital Marketing Lead, where they were responsible for measuring the impact of marketing efforts and driving actions towards specific goals until 2012.
From 2012 to 2014, Ben worked at River Road Home Services and Ovative Group as a Digital Marketing Manager. Ben then joined GoKart Labs as a Digital Marketing Manager from 2014 to 2016.
Ben rejoined Ovative Group in 2012 as a Senior Manager of Marketing Services and later became the Amazon Channel Lead. In 2019, they co-founded Sober Theory and served as the Vice President until 2022.
Currently, Ben holds the position of Director of Activate Solutions at Ovative Group, where they lead a team of problem solvers working on developing solutions to accelerate reporting, insights, and optimizations across digital media teams. Ben also serves as the Director of Solution Architecture, defining and driving the strategic direction of the Solution Architecture team.
Ben Culbert has a diverse education history. From 2005 to 2007, they attended Kaplan University and studied Financial Planning. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2001, they attended Brown College and pursued a field of study in Computer Networking. In addition to their formal education, Ben has obtained various certifications, including MAP Certification from the Ovative Group in July 2019, Bing Ads Accredited Professional from Microsoft in January 2014, Google AdWords Advertising Fundamentals and Google AdWords Advanced Display from Google in January 2014, Kenshoo Enterprise Certification Program from Kenshoo/Online Marketing Institute in January 2014, Google AdWords Advanced Search from Google in December 2013, Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in December 2011, Email Marketing from Marketing Experiments in July 2011, and Landing Page Optimization from Marketing Experiments in June 2011.
