Karsten Hurup

Karsten Hurup has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Karsten is currently serving as the VP Operations, Procurement & Partnerships at Viio.io since February 2023. Before that, Karsten worked at Carlsberg Group for a considerable period. Karsten held the position of Director, Western Europe Supply Chain IT from May 2020 to February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as Director, Global IT Programmes & Projects from July 2017 to May 2020. Karsten also served as the Senior Integration Manager from April 2016 to June 2017, Head of Functional Process Management from January 2014 to March 2016, Program Lead for the Business Standardization Program from January 2012 to January 2014, and Sourcing & eProcurement Team & Program Lead from September 2009 to February 2012.

Additionally, Karsten has worked as a Senior Business Navigator from October 2008 to September 2009 and as a Business Navigator from September 2007 to October 2008, both at Carlsberg Group. Prior to their tenure at Carlsberg, Karsten worked as Projektvejleder/Undervisningsassistent at Copenhagen Business School from April 2008 to January 2010, and as a Proceskonsulent at Post Danmark from January 2007 to September 2007.

Karsten Hurup began their education at Copenhagen Business School in 2002, where they studied Economics. Karsten completed their undergraduate degree in Economics in 2005. Afterward, they pursued further education at the same institution and graduated in 2007 with a degree in Supply Chain Management, known as Cand. Merc. from Copenhagen Business School.
