Over the Fence
Frank Habermann is a Professor of Business & Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law since 2010 and co-founder of Over the Fence since 2013. Previously, Frank founded and partnered in Becota - The Berlin Consulting & Talent Association, focusing on organizational learning, ICT and management consulting, and talent development from 2009 to 2010. Frank served as Senior Vice President at imc AG from 2000 to 2008 and was a visiting lecturer and researcher at Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business UCD from 1998 to 2000. Earlier in their career, Frank was a researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) from 1995 to 1999. Frank holds a Dr. rer. oec. in Business Information Systems from DFKI and a Dipl-Kfm. in Business Administration from Universität des Saarlandes.

Founded in 2013 by Karen Schmidt & Frank Habermann, “Over the Fence” is an international research center and community. We re-think projects and decision-making! We create Creative Commons thinking tools for people in projects and organizations. Conceived and created with love and passion in Berlin and in the world. We connect deep expertise in leadership and management with stories, wisdom, and modes of thought from other disciplines like sports, psychology, design, theatre and the arts. We provide valuable knowledge and tools for anyone, who faces complex projects and decisions. Our motto is “simple but powerful – demystified and buzzword-free”.
