Overair
Wooyoung Choi has over 16 years of work experience, beginning in 2005 as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Assistant Researcher at the Aeroacoustics & Noise Control Laboratory at Seoul National University. In 2009, they became a Project Manager and Project Engineer at Romax Technology. In 2014, they started as a Senior Research Engineer at Hanwha Aerospace/Samsung Techwin. In 2015, they moved to Hanwha Aerospace as a Principal Research Engineer. In 2019, they changed roles to become a Chief Engineer at Hanwha System. In 2020, they became a Senior Aeromechanical Engineer at Hanwha System/Overair. Most recently, in 2022, they were promoted to Manager of the Dynamic System at Overair.
Wooyoung Choi received their Bachelor degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University in 2002. Wooyoung then continued their studies at Seoul National University and received their Ph.D in Aerodynamic, Mechanical Engineering, and Acoustics in 2008.
