Shannon Matlock, MA, NCC, LPC, serves as a Professional Counselor at Overcomers Counseling since September 2020 and concurrently holds the position of Professional School Counselor at Colorado Springs Early Colleges since August 2018. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from August 2016 to September 2020, where responsibilities involved course organization, lesson planning, and student assessment. Shannon's professional journey also includes an internship as a School Counseling Intern at Manitou Springs Elementary School in 2018-2019 and earlier work as a Medical Assistant at M & T Dermatology from 2012 to 2015. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Missouri Southern State University.
