Shannon Malloy

Shannon Malloy has a diverse work history in various roles. Shannon is currently working as a Front-End Developer and Graphic Designer at Overdrive Interactive. Prior to this, they worked as a Creative Director at J.A.S. Design & Screen-Printing Studio, where they collaborated with local businesses on web design, branding, t-shirt design, marketing collateral, and more. Shannon also managed the studio's eCommerce website and created social media and marketing material.

Shannon has also served as a Regional Referee for the United States Soccer Federation, officiating soccer games at various levels and ensuring a safe environment for players, coaches, and herself. Shannon held different referee roles with varying grades during their tenure.

Shannon also worked as a Graphic Designer at Johnson & Wales University, where they designed marketing collateral, identities for University departments/seminars, and led a web experience redesign project. Additionally, they worked as a Junior Front End Developer at Linchpin, implementing front end solutions for WordPress themes and collaborating with designers on UX strategies and print collateral.

Shannon gained experience during their internship as a Front End Web Development Intern at Linchpin and served as an Assistant Graphic Designer at Johnson & Wales University, designing a wide range of collateral.

Prior to their design roles, Shannon worked at Amica Mutual Insurance as a Corporate Services Associate and Student Help.

Shannon Malloy completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Graphic Design & Digital Media from Johnson & Wales University, attending from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma in Graphic Arts & Printing from William M. Davies Career and Technical High School, where they attended from 2009 to 2013. Shannon also holds additional certifications, including "Design Thinking: Customer Experience" and "Getting Started in User Experience" from LinkedIn, obtained in March 2021. In 2013, they also obtained certifications such as "PrintED Certified" from GAERF and "Adobe Certified Associate" from Adobe.
