Dawn Woodward

Dawn Woodward is a dedicated library professional with extensive experience in various librarian roles. Currently serving as a Digital Content Librarian at OverDrive since June 2023, Dawn previously worked as a Public Services Librarian for the Lorain Public Library System from September 2018 to June 2023, where involvement in a consortium of over 45 libraries enhanced patrons' access to diverse collections. As a Youth Services Librarian for Oberlin City Schools and Columbus City Schools, responsibilities included instructing students in research, managing library materials, and designing engaging reading initiatives. Dawn's early career included editorial work for McGraw Hill and roles with the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, demonstrating a strong commitment to education and community engagement. Dawn holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Creative Writing from Otterbein University.
