Sara Dominguez

Sara Dominguez is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in special education and recreational programming. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher and Paraeducator at Overlake Medical Center & Clinics since August 2018, Sara also works as a Recreation Counselor for Seattle Parks and Recreation, enhancing the well-being of individuals with physical and cognitive challenges. Previous roles include Adaptive Summer Camp Director at Highland Community Center, where Sara planned and executed developmental activities for youth ages 4 to 21, and various positions as a Summer Camp Counselor and Child Caregiver, focusing on creating safe, engaging environments for children. Sara holds a Doctorate in Education with a specialization in Special Education Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University, as well as a Master's in Special Education from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Seattle University. Additional certifications include STARS training, CPR, and food safety.
