Spencer Powers

Spencer Powers is a Software Engineer at Overland AI since October 2024, previously serving as a Robotics Engineer at Pronto from June 2023 to October 2024 and as a Robotics Intern at Pronto in the summer of 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Technical Advisor and Founder of the USC ASPEN Laboratory from August 2018 to May 2021, where Spencer led an undergraduate research group focused on high-fidelity models and simulations of nuclear thermal rocket engines. Spencer also interned as a Development Engineer at ABL Space Systems in 2018 and worked as a General Engineer at the USC Liquid Propulsion Laboratory between 2016 and 2018. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Robotics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California.
