Chia-Wei Chang has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. They started their career as a Research Assistant at National Yang Ming University in 2000. From there, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant at National Taiwan University in 2002. In 2010, Chia-Wei became a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they worked until 2016.
In 2016, Chia-Wei joined Fate Therapeutics Inc as a Scientist, and over time, they progressed to the roles of Senior Scientist and Principal Scientist. They worked in these positions until 2022.
Currently, Chia-Wei is the Director of Cell Therapy, CAR-T Product Development at Overland Pharmaceuticals.
Chia-Wei Chang received a Ph.D in Stem cell biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, completing their studies from 2003 to 2009.
