Cherine Chalaby

Cherine Chalaby’s extensive international career encompasses leadership roles in consulting, venture capital, banking and Internet governance, including considerable Board experience. In 2019, Cherine retired as Chairman of the Board of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN), having served on the board for the maximum nine years allowed by the ICANN Bylaws. In 2011, he retired as Chairman of Rasmala, a Dubai based regional investment bank operating in asset management, corporate finance, private equity and institutional brokerage. He was previously at Accenture for 28 years, where he held key management positions, including Managing Partner of Accenture’s capital markets industry sector, Managing Partner of Accenture’s venture capital business in the EMEA, India and Latin America regions, and, as a senior partner, he was a member of Accenture's global executive committee.
