Kristina Arriaga is president of the advisory firm Intrinsic. For over 30 years, she has worked on the defense of freedom of expression and freedom of religion or belief as a member of the US delegation to the UN Human Rights Commission, the US Civil Rights Commission, and as the Executive Director of a US-based public interest law firm. In 2016, she was appointed to the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, where she served two terms as Vice-Chair. Arriaga is a recipient of the 2017 Newseum’s Free Expression Award. Throughout her career, she has lectured and written extensively on governance and human rights issues.
