Rita Guerrero, CPA

Rita Guerrero, CPA has extensive experience in the finance industry. Rita began their career in 2011 as a Check Writing and Money Direct Intern at Scottrade. In 2012, they joined RSM US LLP as a Senior Assurance Associate, where they were responsible for understanding clients' needs and expectations, assessing risks and evaluating the client's internal control structure, performing substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues, and drafting financial statements under prescribed formats. In 2016, they moved to Ascentris, where they held roles as Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant. Most recently, they have been serving as VP of Finance and Controller at oVertone Haircare Inc since 2020.

Rita Guerrero, CPA, obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and Marketing from Saint Louis University in 2012. Rita then obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the AICPA in April 2018.
