Brittany Lambert-Brown is the Chief Program Officer at Overtown Youth Center. Brittany has dedicated their career to working with high-risk youth and adults, with a focus on empowerment and prevention.
Brittany began their career as a Therapist Student Intern at Family Counseling Services of Greater Miami, Inc., where they conducted outpatient therapy and intake assessments. Brittany later became a Counselor/Program Coordinator/Registered Intern, overseeing project coordination, data management and analysis, and care coordination monitoring for at-risk youth. In this role, they also facilitated sexual violence prevention workshops and other trainings.
In January 2012, Brittany began working with the Girl Power: Post Arrest Diversion Program, conducting time-limited, individual outpatient therapy sessions. Later that year, they co-facilitated group sessions through the Families and Schools Together program with Theirpanic families.
In their current role as CPO at Overtown Youth Center, Brittany oversees all programmatic aspects of the organization. Brittany is committed to helping youth reach their full potential and leading them on a path to success.
Brittany Lambert-Brown has a M.S.Ed in Mental Health Counseling from University of Miami and a B.A. in Psychology and English from also University of Miami. Brittany is certified in USA Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health First Aid Certification, as well as being licensed in Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling.
Brittany Lambert-Brown works with Djenaba Gregory-Faal - Grant Manager, Nicole McMillan - Human Resource Director, and Keith Storr - Lead Elementary School Coordinator. Their manager is Tina Brown, CEO.
