Pierce Martin

Pierce Martin has a decade of work experience in the engineering and technology fields. Pierce began their career in 2010 as an Intern at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, where they created a GIS data visualization tool for displaying many of the products that were developed during field projects. This involved extensive software development in ruby on rails, html, javascript, google earth kml on unix and windows systems. In 2011, they held a Physical Science Tech (GS-5) position at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and a Course Assistant position at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In 2012, they returned to Insitu, Inc. as a Propulsion Engineering Intern. The following year, they were a Member of the Technical Staff at The Aerospace Corporation. From 2015-2016, they were a Systems Engineer Senior at Lockheed Martin, and since 2016, they have been a Software Engineer at Insitu Inc. Pierce currently holds the same position at Overwatch Imaging.

Pierce Martin attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering. Pierce then returned to the University of Colorado Boulder from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering. In January 2013, Pierce obtained a Wilderness First Responder certification from the National Outdoor Leadership School.
