Marc O. Schurr

Marc Schurr was the founder of Ovesco in 2008 and is the company’s CEO since 2021. He has successfully promoted clinical science, launching Ovesco’s technology & product development onto the international market. Before founding Ovesco, Marc held various positions in academia, contract research, and consulting and became a serial entrepreneur, creating an incubator for medical technology products and services in Tübingen. He joined Steinbeis University Berlin in 2005, where he performed a variety of teaching and scientific responsibilities as Director of the IHCI Institute until 2021. He has served on various institutions and boards in the industry, medicine, and investment, as well as non-profit organizations.

Marc holds a doctorate from the Faculty of Medicine at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, is a certified physician, and has a degree in Medical Science from the same institution.
