Blake Horton

Blake Horton, P.E. is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Since June 2013, Blake has served as a Senior Production Engineer at Ovintiv, primarily focused on the Permian Basin. Prior roles at Ovintiv include Senior Completions Engineer, where valuable technical support was provided to teams in STACK/SCOOP, Bakken, and Uinta assets, and various engineering positions that involved direct interface with completions teams and the construction of performance tracking databases. Prior to Ovintiv, Blake worked as an Engineering Consultant at Analytical and Materials Engineering, conducting field investigations and failure analyses, as well as interning at Encana and Beta Offshore, managing projects and drafting engineering packages related to energy facilities. Educationally, Blake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
