David Colborne

David Colborne has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Manager of Facilities and Operations Engineering at Ovintiv since November 2005, where David oversees teams that support Canadian Montney Operations. Prior roles at Ovintiv include Production Engineering Manager and Manager of Production, focusing on production growth and cash flow optimization. Colborne's earlier experience includes positions as Lead Area Engineer in Horn River and Production Engineer, concentrating on production optimization and well workovers. Prior to Ovintiv, Colborne worked at Schlumberger as a Field Engineer, providing logging and mechanical services, and at Nowsco Well Service Ltd., also as a Field Engineer, specializing in cementing and stimulation operations. Colborne holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta.
