Fil Szopiak

Fil Szopiak is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of Development for Canadian Operations at Ovintiv since May 2019. Prior to this role, Fil held multiple positions, including Director of Communications and Manager of Development Operations at Ovintiv. From August 2006 to May 2019, Fil was employed at Encana as a Senior Development Engineer and Facilities Engineer, where responsibilities included achieving production targets and managing capital budgets through collaboration with various service teams.
