Kathy Varto

Kathy Varto has over 25 years of experience in human resources and talent management, currently serving as Director of Talent Management & Leadership Coach at Ovintiv since May 2008. In this role, Kathy provides leadership and oversight for various functions including Leader Development, Succession Planning, and Professional Recruiting in the US and Canada. Previously, Kathy held roles at Ovintiv such as Director of Development & Staffing and Lead of Talent Management, focusing on leader and team development. Prior experience includes senior HR positions at Lehman Brothers and JD Edwards/People Soft, where Kathy provided strategic HR consulting and support to business leaders. Kathy holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
