Luiz Almeida

Luiz Almeida has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Luiz began as a Server at River Cafe in 2014, then moved to Account Executive at S.K.I. Beer in 2015, where they managed over 120 different accounts and increased sales by 15% in the first 6 months. In 2016, they became Head Bartender at Albion NYC, where they were in charge of creating seasonal cocktails and redeveloped the cocktail menus. In 2017, they began working as a Full Stack Developer on Personal Projects, where they built a fantasy draft simulator with real-time player data, news, and updates. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Software Engineer at Ovis Technologies.

Luiz Almeida attended Rutgers University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Luiz then attended Thinkful from 2017 to 2018 to study Computer Software Engineering.
