Owen Marples

Owen Marples is the Head of Clinical Quality at Oviva. Owen has over 5 years of experience working as a dietitian in various settings, including acute, community, and rehabilitation hospitals, as well as outpatient clinics. In their current role, they work with the North East London Sustainability & Transformation Partnership (STP) to improve engagement, self-management and outcomes for people with Type 1 Diabetes in City & Hackney.

Owen Marples graduated from the University of Westminster with a BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. Owen is a Registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).

Owen Marples began their educational career on the Mary Seacole Programme at the NHS Leadership Academy. They then went on to study Warwick course at the University of Warwick. Marples next pursued a Master's degree in Dietetics/Dietitian at King's College London. Finally, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Public Health & Nutrition at Sheffield Hallam University. Marples also holds certifications from Counterweight, King's College London, and REPs in GP Exercise Referral and Level 2 Fitness Instructor.

Owen Marples works with David Nydegger - Chief Product Officer, Lucy Jones - VP, Clinical, and Anna Haas - Managing Director, Germany. Their manager is Kai Eberhardt, Co-Founder & CEO.
