Steve Ball began their work experience in 1986 as a Technical Support Manager at Intermec Corporation, where they oversaw a technical support group and provided support for the sales and distribution channels. Steve then moved on to Real Data Systems, Inc. in 1991, serving as the General Manager of US Operations and overseeing the delivery of custom AIDC/RFID solutions. In 2002, they became the owner of Global id Integration before joining ARAMARK Food Services in 2003 as an AIDC/RFID Project Manager. At ARAMARK, they were responsible for automating the Houston Independent School District's new Warehouse Management Systems. Steve joined Merrick Systems, Inc. in 2007 as the RFID Operational Business Manager, focusing on providing RF solutions for tracking drilling assets in the Oil and Gas industry. Steve then worked at Global Id Integration as a Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst, providing automation services for manufacturing, logistic, and supply chain environments. Steve joined OVS Group LLC in 2014 as a Project Manager, overseeing the delivery of oil and gas solutions using their One Virtual Source Framework. Most recently, they worked as the Beach Manager before retiring in 2019.

Steve Ball has a diverse educational background, with degrees and certifications in various fields. Steve started their education at Everett Community College from 1988 to 1991, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
