Jochen Elegeert

Jochen Elegeert is a communications staff member at OVSG vzw since July 2019, responsible for internal and external communications, press communication, copywriting, and editing the print magazine Imago as well as various e-zines, in addition to managing social media and online communications. Prior experience includes teaching history and English at Stella-Matutinacollege Lede, serving as a Marketing Officer at UNIZO focused on communications for start-up entrepreneurs, and working as a communications consultant at Callebaut & Co, where diverse responsibilities included copywriting and media monitoring. Jochen also worked as a journalist for Reuters News Agency, covering publicly traded companies, and completed an internship at UNESCO to enhance the visibility of the IPDC program through PR materials. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in History from Ghent University, a Master's in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Antwerp, and a Specific Teacher Training degree from CVO KISP.
