Marijke Vermandere

Marijke Vermandere currently holds the position of Directeur Pedagogische begeleidingsdienst at OVSG vzw since September 2022. Prior to this role, Marijke served as Praktijkassistent VUB MILO at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from February 2022 to January 2023 and worked as Coördinator Train Academy Passenger at NMBS from April 2019 to September 2022, alongside a role as adviseur management support. Previous experience includes advising on strategy and innovation in recruitment at HR Rail from September 2014 to April 2019, and working at HUB KAHO in the education and healthcare quality sector from October 2012 to September 2014. Marijke's academic background consists of two Master's degrees from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Social and Health Sciences and in Education, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Erasmushogeschool Brussel, and further qualification as an expert in e-learning from Syntra West. Early career experience includes nursing in an intensive care unit at Bracops Iris Zuid Brussels from July 1996 to July 1999.
