Andrew Ryan

Andrew Ryan currently serves as the Threat Hunt & Detection Engineering Program Lead at Rubrik, overseeing the development of the Threat Hunting and Threat Detection Engineering program since December 2023. Additionally, Andrew has been the OWASP Limerick Chapter Lead since October 2018 and previously worked at Northern Trust Corporation as both a Threat Hunter and Senior Cyber Security Analyst from April 2019 to December 2023, focusing on security event triage and threat hunting. Prior experience includes roles as an SAP Developer/Security Champion at Johnson & Johnson, an SAP Technical Consultant at Amaris Consulting, and a Development Consultant at SAP. Andrew holds an array of academic qualifications, including a Diploma in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the University of Limerick and multiple degrees from Limerick Institute of Technology in fields such as Digital Forensics, Information Systems, and Computer Software Engineering.
