David Wotherspoon earned their BSc Hons in Civil Engineering from Dundee Institute of Technology, which they attended from 1982 to 1987. David then pursued a PhD in Civil Engineering at Abertay University from 1989 to 1994. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they completed an MBA at Lancaster University.
