Mayank Desai

Mayank Desai, PMP, serves as the Division Operations Support Leader at Owens Corning since April 2010, providing comprehensive operational support for manufacturing locations within the Foam Division across the USA and Canada. Responsibilities include project leadership for cross-functional teams in product development and production launches, driving process optimization to enhance quality and throughput while minimizing costs, and ensuring supply chain robustness through risk analysis and mitigation planning. Prior to Owens Corning, Mayank Desai held various leadership positions, including Senior Program Manager at Hayes Lemmerz International and Guardian Industries, as well as Program Manager at GE/Fitch. Mayank Desai began a career at General Motors as an Operations Leader and has a Master’s degree in Industrial Management Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
