Phill Howells

Phill joined the business straight from school and has completed 15 loyal years of service this year (2021). Phill started his journey with the Group as a stores assistant and was soon promoted to a buyer in the purchasing department. He has seen the Group go from strength to strength and now heads up the purchasing and facilities departments for Owens Group which covers the purchase of all company bulk fuel, MHE, building maintenance and repairs to name just a few. Phill’s team is instrumental in making sure the day to day operations of the business go ahead as problem free as possible, ensuring everything to do with the physical infrastructure of the business is running as it should, as well as identifying areas for greater efficiency and cost saving tactics.
