Jaime Betancur

Jaime Betancur is an experienced IT professional with a significant tenure at O-I, starting in July 1998 and progressing to the role of IT Manager for the Technical Delivery Center Americas since May 2010. In this leadership position, Jaime coordinates IT staff recruiting, training, motivation, and engagement. Previous roles include IT Manufacturing Service Delivery Analyst and RPA CoE Leader, where responsibilities encompassed managing IT demand for the business community and ensuring alignment with strategic plans. As Business Information Manager for Manufacturing and Quality in Latin America, Jaime led Masterdata teams and supported SAP QM Deployment and process standardization. Initial roles included Global Messaging and Collaboration Administrator and Messaging and Collaboration Analyst, contributing to the development of key applications. Jaime holds an MBA from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Telecommunications Specialist degree, and a Computer Science Engineer degree from Universidad EAFIT.
