Jan Valko

Jan Valko is an experienced professional in machine maintenance and engineering, currently serving as a Machine Maintenance Manager and Job Change Coordinator at O-I since June 2018. In this role, Jan has developed a daily checklist for monitoring the condition of glass forming machines, implemented preventive maintenance, and managed spare parts. Previously, Jan held positions at Zanini Auto Grup as a Machine Maintenance Manager and Lean Engineer, where responsibilities included initiating continuous improvement processes. Other notable experience includes managing glass melting operations at Pittsburgh Corning FOAMGLAS® Insulation, where Jan completed the construction of new melting technology and led a team. Jan's early career involved roles in maintenance and design, contributing to hygienic maintenance standards and technical innovations. Jan holds an Ing. degree in Engineering Technology – Production Preparation and Management, as well as a Bc. degree in Engineering Technology – Production Management from J.E. Purkyne University.
