John Collins

John Collins is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and operations management with extensive experience in the glass manufacturing industry. Currently serving as the Director of Global Technical Operations at O-I since February 2015, John has held various leadership roles including Global Discipline Leader for Furnace Operations and Furnace Regional Network Manager for Europe. Prior to joining O-I, John worked at Encirc from January 2007 to January 2015, where responsibilities included Production Process Manager and Batch & Furnace Manager. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ulster University, a Modern Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 in Electricity Distribution & Transmission Engineering from the NIE Training Centre, and a BTEC National Certificate in Engineering from Castlereagh College.
